What Are Essential Oils? And Are Essential Oil Books For Beginners Really Helpful?

If you have a passion for healing or just want to know more about essential oil healing, there are many good, essential oil books available that can help you. You can find books on growing herbs, using essential oils for healing, blending scents, using essential oil diffusers, and even essential oil tips and recipes. Some of these books even contain sections on using essential oils in bath and body products. Many people just love to look at the different pictures found in these books because of the natural beauty they can impart. The better quality essential oil books will also be bound in leather and contain a good cloth binding to keep the pages in order as well as easy to read the written content.

I have a couple of essential oil books that I really like. I particularly like The Complete Joy of Mixing by Lori Reid. This book contains hundreds of recipes, which are perfect for healing various ailments, from sore muscles and joints to mental and emotional stress. These aromatherapy recipes use many organic essential oils such as cypress, geranium, Rosemary, chamomile, orange, lemon, grapefruit, jasmine, sandalwood, and ylang-ylang. Recipes such as these have been used for thousands of years by the Egyptians and other Eastern cultures to help relieve pain and improve health.

Another one of my essential oil books is The Art of the Anointing by Gary Craig. This book is another great collection of short articles on using different essential oils with recipes and different applications. This publisher also has a beginner's book on Cologne and fragrance that contains over 40 different recipes for the common perfume scent oils as well as an overview of essential oil safety.Learn more about essential oils at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Essential_oil.

To top off my three essential oil books, I recently purchased Aromatherapy: Rejuvenating Your Beauty Naturally. This book contains some interesting information regarding essential oil recipes and how to make essential oil products at home. With Aromatherapy: Rejuvenating Your Beauty Naturally, you can learn how to make some of the more exotic scents and aromatherapies from around the world. It includes an easy-to-follow guide on making your own aromatherapy candles, potpourri, bath salts, bath beads, incense, skin care, body and bath products, and natural remedies. This is the third in a series of books that focus on natural remedies and is best suited for people who already have a basic knowledge of aromatherapy or those who want to supplement their knowledge of aromatherapy with new recipes for homemade products.

In my search for aromatherapy and natural remedies, I've also bought several books regarding blending essential oils, making essential oil diffusers, and learning how to use essential oil aromatherapy diffusers. All of these books are available at great price tags, so I don't think I spent much money on them. Most of thesebooks focused on using essential oils for stress relief, or for aromatherapy and relaxation. However, if you're looking for 500 formulas for homemade aromatherapy products, you're looking in the wrong places.

When I was searching for aromatherapy and health care products, I found some very basic information in many of these books. For example, if you read Aromatherapy for the Body, you would find a few pages about applying eucalyptus extract to your skin, which I assume is pretty basic information. After reading this to the book's end, I was a little disappointed that there wasn't anything else that explained how to make essential oil products such as candles or oil diffusers. After all, these are the types of things you'd expect to find in a good aromatherapy books, and that's what I was expecting to find.

However, when I started my search for a new wellness book, I was a bit more disheartened. The first thing that I noticed was that most of these wellness books had nothing to do with essential oils whatsoever. They focused on vitamins, minerals, exercises, and so on. I suppose it would be better if they did, but there was just something about these books that made me think they were geared more towards women than men. But then again, I'm a man. So I began my search for a new oil-based book, and I was surprised to find that there were hundreds of amazing products available to help me achieve wellness and health. Be sure to see more here!

When I started searching, I really didn't know where to even start. There were hundreds of products claiming to be the "best essential oil books for beginners" and I was starting to get a little confused. Thankfully, a friend recommended I check out Aromatherapy for Beginners by Karen Smith. As it turns out, this is one of the best essential oil books for beginners, because it gives so much information about the healing power of aromatherapy. In fact, the book discusses essential oil safety as well, which is always important for beginners to learn.
